UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Building Equality for Women in the Construction Trades

Participate in the public release event for a new report examining what it will take to achieve gender equality in an industry on the rebound. Join report authors Susan Moir, Director of UMass Boston's Labor Resource Center, and Meryl Thomson, Center for Women in Politics & Public Policy, as they consider the barriers and opportunities for women in the construction trades. Following the presentation, Rebekah Lashman, Senior Vice President of Commonwealth Corporation, Patti Boyer, Jobs Bank Coordinator for the Boston Residents Jobs Policy Office, and Elizabeth Skidmore, Assistant to the General President on Women's Issues, United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, will participate in a moderated discussion.
